These spacers adjust the seat to a flatter position, preventing the rider from sliding forward in the saddle. They allow you to place the Himalayan 450 stock and touring/adventure seat in the high position at the front and the low position at the rear, and keep it in place when the rear pillion seat is locked down. This causes the driver's seat to sit a little lower in the back and results in a slight gap where the seat meets the tank.
It makes a world of difference with the touring seat, and the bike is more comfortable for longer rides.
